How we started
Lube and Latte was born out of frustration with the traditional auto-repair shop experience. Dirty waiting rooms, scalded cheap coffee, and grungy restrooms were what was found every time you had to get your oil changed. We provide a sparkling clean bathroom, delicious and organic Lost Coffee, a local roastery, and a comfortable waiting area with magazines that a normal person would enjoy. The Owner
Dustin formed Lube and Latte not out of a love of car repair, but as a result of dealing with shady experiences and dishonest practices that were a constant in his interactions at shops. After shelling out hundreds of dollars in unnecessary costs to have his vehicle fixed, Dustin decided that he would go to school, learn the trade, and follow this up by working at a local shop and a commercial entity to see how they conducted their business. Based on these experiences, he created a business model that was easier on the constitution of his customers, allowing for open communication, education, and fair pricing for auto repair. Prior to Lube and Latte, Dustin worked in a non-profit business doing conflict management, educating, and counseling.
